A captivating article to admire and enjoy, this little dancing shoe transmits the era of the flapper. This style danced the Charleston at Gatsby's and was noticed during cocktails at Downton Abbey. It would have been constructed of carmine red and jet black patent leather, with cut steel ornament on the toe and strap and had an angular Spanish heel. You will receive one shoe nestled inside a box suitable for gifting. Choice of shoe only or shoe with either silver or bronze stand. The shoe stand may be ordered separately here.
Each of the shoes in my History of Shoes collection is a three-dimensional, finely sculptured miniature, entirely manufactured in our Los Angeles studio. Note the photo with the coin to show size and scale. Cast in jewelry metal and ornamented in enamels and fine crystal, they are vehicles of imagination and escape like the shoes in fairy tales.
