A captivating article to admire and enjoy, this little dancing shoe transmits the era of the flapper. This style danced the Charleston at Gatsby's and was noticed during cocktails at Downton Abbey. It would have been constructed of carmine red and jet black patent leather, with cut steel ornament on the toe and strap and had an angular Spanish heel. This Art Deco shoe is entirely produced by hand in our studios. Signed Sweet Romance USA.
The Inspiration: Rising hemlines of the 1920s raised eyebrows. Exposing first the ankle, then the knee, shoes were made plainly visible.
