The glass pinwheel center of this ring was originally made for buttons in the late 1800s. Adapted for jewelry elements, the design is a starburst, with a jet black surface and gold recessed carving. This art is being lost to the modern world and production of hand cut glass ornaments will soon be history. A corona setting holds the glass in place, bordered in jet stones. Mounted on burnished bronze ring band, it is adjustable and comfortable for sizes 6 -9. Made in our Los Angeles studio.
