Description

The glass pharaoh charms and blue goddess are genuine vintage elements from the 1930s. Then, there's the hieroglyphics tablet, the scarab locket, a pyramid locket, coiled jeweled serpent, a python weaving in his basket, a mummy which can be "excavated" from his sarcophagus, a jet cat much like Napoleon's and an old cask of magic oil which has been sealed for centuries. Bracelet closes with an Ankh toggle clasp. All these treasures are bold, yet delicate and deserve your appreciative care while wearing. Warm bronze metal finish. Signed and copyrighted Sweet Romance.

Size: 8" long and the charms are about 1" L x 1" W.
Made in our Los Angeles, CA studio.

Shelley's comments
: The wondrous discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb in 1929 did not exactly begin the fascination with ancient Egypt. It did, however, profoundly influence archaeology and popular culture. The undisturbed intact articles found in Tut's tomb became icons of romance and mystery. Egyptian motifs began to appear in the stylized art deco facades of buildings and in decorative arts. Bohemian glass factories produced decorated elements to be used in the creation of "artifact" jewelry. My charm bracelet is inspired by the wonderful kitsch jewelry that is now found only in the domain of an advanced collector.

Cultural Beauty And History May 8, 2017
: Sharon C. from Rancho Palos Verdes, CA United States
Cultural symbols carefully selected for this bracelet call up the mysteries of an ancient civilization. These superbly detailed charms comprise significant material and educative heft. Whenever I am wearing this intriguing bracelet, friends and strangers stop to ask questions or offer compliments.  A perfect companion to the Sweet Romance Egyptian necklace and earrings which I purchased last year, the bracelet completes a set which remains among my favorite treasures.

Wearable art! January 4, 2017
: Mary D. from Los Angeles, California
This is more than a bracelet.  This is like wearing a piece of art on your wrist.  It is a conversation piece of which I am so proud.  Even Cleopatra would have loved this bracelet.  If you like all things Egyptian, you must add this bracelet to your collection.

Spectacular! January 24, 2016
 : C. B. from Madras, OR' U.S.A.
I also have the coordinating Tut Tut Tut Necklace, Blue Goddess Earrings, Pharaoh Earrings in Red, and Serpent Earrings in Ancient Earth which match the serpent on the Bracelet.  I have three holes in one ear, so the suite is very impressive.  Also, I really enjoy the locket and secret "trap door" pyramid.

Beautiful Egyptian Charms... January 14, 2016
: Mimi from suches, GA United States
I love this bracelet, the charms all have lots of details to make them special. The bracelet is fairly heavy and bulky so  since I teach art it is not for everyday wear. When I wore it to school my kids loved it as I much as I do.
