Had you been shopping Paris flea markets as late as the 1980s, you might have been able to hunt down a fine French bauble. Marche aux puces or not, I adapted this wonderful Fleur de Lis from an old brochure about the restoration of the Palace of Versailles. A visit there would have amazed you with the extraordinary detail of plaster ornaments being re-set on the walls, including hundreds of Fleur de Lis, emblematic of French heraldry, a stylized lily flower.
It is mounted on a jet glass oval set in a bezel with French knots on both sides of the shank. Smoke crystal accents.
Choice of metal finish in rubbed bronze or antique silver.
Adjustable, comfortable ring band fits sizes 6-9. Made in our Los Angeles studio.
From our Artifacts Ring Collection featuring old world icons of beauty, mystery and a hint of magic. Enduring symbols of legend, inspiration and guidance, they connect past with present for this journey called life. Using traditional bench techniques, every ring is hand-fabricated with artistic sculptures, gemstones and crystal from our rich archive of jewelry artifacts.
