1930s handbags and dressertops were jammed with all the latest cosmetics and jewelled containers for candy pastilles, pills, powder, coins etc. This round case is patterned in Bertini flourish style engraving. Its lid is a repouseed design of scrolls, enameled flowers and a black enamel leaf accented in faceted oval crystal in rose and amethysts. A treasure of the early 1930s style.
