The wonderful box in which it left the milliner's shop completed the luxurious pastime of purchasing a hat. After a day's wear, it was either returned to its box or perched atop a decorative iron hatstand. Hat box is sided with pierced band and borders of tiny roses. Interior bottom is wine color velvet. Box top is engraved, lacquered in soft rose and lavender, then enameled. Cord is dark bronze double twisted rope chain with jeweled tassels. Signed. Trademark Sweet Romance USA
